On another note, this Morizo edition Corolla GR was out at a local autocross event this weekend. The owner has some local track time planned coming up as well. Glad to see this thing getting used!

Am I just a dick for not liking this platform? It is, on the other hand, absolutely righteous that this pilot is putting it to its intended use.

Super jelly. I tried to get one for MSRP but I couldn't find a single stealership doing that. 20-40k over is outrageous, so no thanks for me. Wish I can track one though!

Ended up having a boost leak issue which turned out to be a crack in the intercooler that wasn't repairable. Swapped it out with a spare IC along with factory exhaust manifold for better fitment as the aftermarket manifold didn't fit well with the top mount IC. Unfortunately the replacement IC has some hairline cracks as well that I haven't been able to fully seal. Overall the car is running great but I may need to move to a FMIC next year.

Unfortunately the summer flew by and with lots of travelling and small issues popping up with the car, I didn't have a chance to get it out to autocross or track. Lots of little updates and various fixes resolving some electrical gremlins but the car was feeling pretty good before putting it away for winter storage.

It sure is! It's a pretty nice facility, although the Celica is a bit out of place next to a C8 Corvette and a couple McLarens...
