The strip on the inside window weather stripping along the door decided to become two pieces. This is the seal with the felt on one side.
Okay I've tried glueing it with rubber glue 4 times. It just came apart microns apart from the glued spot hinting I need to replace it. however it seems to be NLA.
Thinking that the door on a Supra might be close I measured the strip and is longer than the Celica (potential score). I'm thinking of buying the supra part dismantling it cut the rubber to size and shape and try to install it into the plastic for the Celica.
Before I try I thought I'd see what others have done first, because this might be harder than it sounds and I only get one chance to get it right with 30+ year old plastic. Any advise or suggestions?
