i suspect it to be a CT-20B. but i just want to ask you pro's, since you guys know better than i.

thank you guys.

I think the 20B has 7 studs on the exhaust.

"74010 for single entry ST165 All-trac
74020 for twin entry Ceramic CT26
74030 for twin entry Inconel CT26
74040 for twin entry Ceramic CT20B
74080 for twin entry the steel shaft CT20B from the ST205 WRC
42010 for singe entry Supra CT26"

That's from mr2oc.com.

Here's the whole thread, its based on identifying CT turbo's.

Hope that helps.

Thank you, thats what i thought too, about 7 studs for the exhuast, but i dont see CT-26 on the inducer casting, hense why i'm confused and hense why i asked. :)

but thank you for the infomation, i will look at the link now :)

so yeah the exhuast housing casting is the same as a typical twin entry ct26, 74030...but why is my inducer housing with the ct-26 writing on it?

alrighty, that makes sense, they prolly machined off the CT-26 part, or just used a ct-20b housing, alright well thanks everyone! :)

and if mods desire to close/delete this thread they are more than welcome to :)

thanks again:)

As discussed in another thread, not all the information above is accurate.

99% of the information in that thread is dead accurate

94 and 95 MR2 Turbo models got a CT26 that just said TOYOTA on it. In japan the MR2 had a 3rd gen engine in 94. But in the US they were still selling MR2 Turbo's with the gen 2 engine so they just used the CT20B compressor housing on the CT26's that were manufactured for use in 94 and 95 Model MR2 Turbos sold in North America.
