Hello, I am working with a leather seat maker ATM. I ordered a set for a Lexus LS430, and like their products. He will be making them soon for Alltracs. I will update once all is said and done. Give it a few weeks.

I hear you. It's yours to do as you please. I agree with bringing it back to running condition/restoring it, but at this point, going Gen 3/4/5 is a must in these cars. Night and day difference. Too many reasons not to. Best of luck. I will be following this thread.

I enjoy these complete teardowns/rebuilds. Keep it up. I'll be keeping a close eye on this project. I have a ST165 (acquired earlier this year) with some rust. If it doesn't sell by year's end, I may jump into a bare strip job as well. I would suggest looking into wet blasting/dust-less...

Nice!!!! Exactly what I want. My father owned the 60 and 80 series LC. They are great SUVs. Most I've looked at have similar mileage. I'm not afraid to get one with that mileage. I am always looking. I wish more came with dark gray or black interiors. I'm not a big fan of light beige interior...

I got my engine at the time from a local importer, but these days inventory seems to be lower than normal all over, and the few that are on Ebay are expensive. But usually Ebay, or FB Marketplace engine importers is a good start. The Alltracs are heavy, but still lighter than newer AWD cars...

Looking very good. Great job on the gearbox. Super clean. And good move on the Gen 4. They're getting harder to find these days.
