Bought at end of 2004; replaced cracked main coolant elbow; wouldn't idle and smoked horribly, had been sitting for 2 years and 70k since rebuild, a mechanic said the oil control rings are prone to collapsing when the car sits and suggested marvel mystery oil to free them up. Did this and let it sit in the cylinder's turning the engine over a few times a day at the alternator nut. So far this has seemed to work but still smokes randomly, possibly from burning all of the oil out of the exhaust. Still won't idle, working on that. Hoping to get some tags soon!
