Relay hook-up

Im thinking about doing that relay wiring so my car starts like EVERYTIME. Im sick of sitting in the parking lot for like 30 min with no luck. stupid car.

anyone do this mod and actually have some success. if so let me know exactly how you did it and maybe some pics would be grately appreciated.

I did it and haven't had a problem in over 5 years. So have many other 4th Gen owners. It's a proven field-fix.

do you have any pictures of the relay or exactly where did you put it. cuz im just scared of cutting fucking wires and tearing up my car.

holy shit its the SMALL wire thats crapping out. I swear i thought it was the 12V battery Wire. Dude thanks a SHITLOAD this helps a lot. imma go get the relay tomorrow and snip snip away or maybe just take it to an electrician to see what they can do.

so I have to tap into the 12 volt battery cable and run it to the relay or is the same cable that is already bolted to the starter?
